Merging Nvu and KompoZer

[edit]

Nvu and KompoZer should be merged here, with appropriate redirects, similar to the way the Advanced Content/Advanced Interactivity Consortium/HDi merge happened. This is not a delitionist stance; we should be able to fully merge everything. Nothing should have to slip through the cracks. -- C. A. Russell (talk) 18:42, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's a good idea. I wonder how Netscape Composer and BlueGriffon play into that. Netscape composer at some point became Mozilla Composer (maybe a merger here is also sensible?).
BlueGriffon is said on its page to be based on Nvu, but Nvu article states that BlueGriffon was written from scratch. All in all, the BlueGriffon needs to prove notability or it might be worth merging too, imho.
Not that it should be decided here and now, but it might guide this merger in some direction. Food for thought, as they say. –K4rolB (talk) 18:49, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
