"The Moxie Girlz have not yet seemed like a bother to Mattel." Could maybe we come up with a better wording. Overall this article does nothing. I was looking it up since the sales person at the toy store mentioned that this is a new line to replace the Bratz Dolls. The Bratz Dolls will have to be recalled, and destroyed as part of the judgment against the manufacturer in its case against Mattel. Boufa (talk) 12:02, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Copy Catz?
[edit]I was reading about bratz just a few minutes ago and then i read a little about Moxie girlz and couldn't help but notice that BOTH are 10' (ten inches) and BOTH have four original dolls and if you have seen both of them, They both have big heads, almond shaped eyes, and bodies too small for the head. i'm just taking a wild guess that Moxie girls are copying bratz-they can't say they never heard of bratz, they are too popular. Moxie girlz even took the Z at the end of dollz, wait, alot of people do that. never mind that last reason. But moxie girlz still copied! For christmas, i'm thinking about asking for a moxie girl and a brat to compare differences in length, weight and looks. if i do that, i'll put the results here. Moxie Girlz is done the same company the who did the bratz. They're the replacment for the Bratz. (mich (talk) 04:04, 3 December 2009 (UTC))
I think Dog lvr is right. Moxie Girlz look so much like Bratz! (Except their lips thought) They even take the Z from Bratz. And they don't show any history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.204.202.60 (talk) 13:10, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
Maybe because they're done by the same company. That like saying Zoobles ripoff Bakugan when they were both done by spinmaster mich (talk) 03:24, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
Who wrote this article ?
[edit]they got it all wrong, there are four girl not five.(mich (talk) 23:40, 3 February 2010 (UTC))
From Monkeys 9711
[edit]The person who wrote this article must be a new user, because it's mostly wrong. It is Sophie, Alexis, Daniella, and Katie not those other names!
- If you are trying to say that the dolls names are actually Sophie, Alexis, Daniella, and Katie, I think you mean Liv dolls. Because Moxie dolls are named Sophina, Avery, Bria, and Lexa. --188.253.142.142 (talk) 15:27, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Article needed help
[edit]I went in and redid a lot of things, the article had a messy set up and was bias/pov at the intro... something you would read on an online journal. There was no need to mention Barbie or Spinmasters "LivGirls". Putting their race is unnecessary. These are Dolls(TOYS) after all, the doll becomes whatever the owner wants it to be.
The article repeated itself a lot, and those long lines... have been reduced to just 4. Unicogirl (talk) 23:05, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
- I am unsure why Alan Liefting removed all the content, that did not help at all and it severely cut the products section, other doll pages are set up like this so there was no reason to remove everything. And to the other Editor, the wordy doll descriptions are unnecessary, leave that to fansites and the official please. And once again to future Editors, do Not give the dolls unofficial ethnic tags. Please leave their skin tones as shade color not real life origin. Unicogirl (talk) 22:50, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Who started this?!
[edit]In all honesty, this article sounds like it was written directly from MGA. Monkeys 9711 is right, whoever wrote this was clearly a new user. Come on, if you're gonna write a new article, don't copy the website. This is Wikipedia, people. Not a forum. Don't write what you think. Write the facts! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Starburst156 (talk • contribs) 01:30, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
- Hello, you should check out the page history long before my own edits. Monkeys 9711 posted here in March 2010 and was referring to the edits from March 2010 and back. The page had literally no direction or set up, the edits were from Bratz fans who typed as if it was their personal blog, they typed their own personal view of each doll and even gave them ethnic backgrounds (its a doll), or just typed up each product in detail... basically useless. The only thing truly copied from the site is the dolls profile, everything else is typed up and factual based upon how the dolls are marketed. At one point the page was redirected to Bratz main page, even though it is an entirely different line of dolls.

- You will have to specify what your issue is with which section. The dolls don't have enough history to create a full page of information such as with Bratz or Barbie. They don't have an animated show (as of yet) or set personalities to make them worthy of typing about. I chopped out a good deal of what was previously typed and made it is clean as possible. The girls are reminiscent of Bratz, that part is obvious as they come from the same company. The girls are indeed advertised as having positive attitudes (a common trait with many dolls). So these are not self inserts or what I think, they are what MGA produced them and marketed them to be.
- The previous edits were all over the place, just recently someone edited the names once again to reflect the names of LIV dolls, even though it is clear Moxie is not LIV. If other Wikis can have mini profiles on characters (even some based from the official sites), why not this article? So until the dolls at least get beyond 2010 there just isn't going to be much to do with the article unless MGA pushes them as they did Bratz. Unicogirl (talk) 21:27, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Profiles
[edit]On 8 September 2011 someone deleted the main dolls profiles, without contributing an alternative or even leaving a discussion on how to improve it. I only restored it as the dolls are presented as such, so if there is someone who can come up with a solution besides just deleting, please offer. Unicogirl (talk) 03:28, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
