Relation to Al Gore sr?

Was Butler related to the Gores? V. Joe 12:19, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to this website, Al Gore, Jr.'s great great great great great grandparent, Henry Gore, is the same as the great great grandparent of Mounce Gore Butler. According to our useful cousin chart article, this means they are third cousins three times removed. I am not sure if this source could be cited in the article, however.
