Two issues:
- cit. Its name, a translation of German Brüx, means "bridge" in English and than 1040 - Slavic settlement Gnevin Pons. I guess that Most was derived from Pons and not from German Brüx. Several settlements in the Ore Mountains had a name derived from Latin/Slavic name.
- cit The German-speaking population of the city largely fled before the Red Army during World War II. Unless somebody provides a source confirming that they fled with an intention to never come back, I suggest to change the sentence to were expelled JanSuchy 20:12, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Requested move 1 December 2020
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: move Most (Most District) → Most (city). -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:24, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
– There are other places called Most, but they are all much smaller and have no related articles. Rathfelder (talk) 10:03, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Malformed RM, also Oppose if fixed to move dab the target is a full dab page. Evidently WP:NOPRIMARY In ictu oculi (talk) 10:37, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Most (Most District), a city in the Czech Republic
- Most District, surrounding district of the city
- Autodrom Most, motorsport race track near Most
- Most, Kardzhali Province, a village in Bulgaria
- Möst, Khovd, a district in Khovd, Mongolia
- Most (surname), list of people with the surname
- Most (1969 film), a 1969 war partisan film about Yugoslavian partisans during World War II
- Most (2003 film), a 33-minute 2003 Czech film nominated for an Academy Award
- Most (grape), another name for the wine grape Chasselas
- most (Unix), terminal pager on Unix and Unix-like systems
- Most (wine), German word for cider
- Most (Most District), a city in the Czech Republic
- Now fixed but I doubt that this will be successful. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:47, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose, no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.--Ortizesp (talk) 15:06, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose a small-ish town isn't really the primary topic, and per WP:ASTONISH, I would not expect it to be the base title either. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:22, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Strong oppose Most (2003 film) gets 5,947 views compared to only 750 for this one and most (Unix) gets 193. Clearly the district isn't primary by usage and the DAB page also gives readers a link to WT which seems helpful as a minor point. Google shows nothing for the place but this DAB page does show up on the 1st page of results and Images shows Beška Bridge as well as companies, Books also doesn't show the place. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:47, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Would you be happier if it was renamed Most (City)?Rathfelder (talk) 18:33, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Yes that makes more sense like Cork (city). Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:35, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Most (city) is acceptable. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:06, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose - Clearly not the primary topic, although the current title is somewhat bizarre and Most (city) or Most (Czech city) would probably be preferable. Even in usage in reference to a location I see a lot of references in English to the nearby race circuit. HumanBodyPiloter5 (talk) 01:09, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- Most (city) would be fine; oppose making this the primary topic of "Most"; if there is a primary topic for that term at all, it is the use of the word to form the superlative in grammatical comparison. BD2412 T 03:45, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- Do I need to repropose Most (city)? Rathfelder (talk) 08:25, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- A closer can discern consensus to move Most (Most District) to Most (city) from this discussion. If they don't then it can be reproposed specifically. BD2412 T 05:24, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- Note to Closer Some of the "Oppose"s above for Most are open to "Most (city)" in their comments. - RevelationDirect (talk) 00:37, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose Per WP:NOPRIMARY, the dab page should stay at primary.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 07:55, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- Most (city) would be more natural than the current name. FromCzech (talk) 08:46, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
