Proposed merge
[edit]The old stadium has already been demolished and the article for it needs to go too. All of the information contained in that article can be neatly summarized in a paragraph on this page. GetDownAdam 20:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Calatrava Design?
[edit]Does anybody know whether this is a Calatrava project? Regalion 02:02, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
East Coast Radio
[edit]The article on Moses Mabhida the Man was inserted following criticism on 12 June 2008 on the Morning Show by Dyryl Ilbury, a DJ on the Breakfast Bunch on East Coast Radio, that there was no information available on Wikipedia on the man after which the 2010 Soccer stadium was named. Perhaps someone can set up a separate page with a fuller history! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.242.124.109 (talk) 20:20, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Finish
[edit]So is it finished as of this writing? Not sure but it seems like alot of the stuff needs updating. Transaction Go (talk) 17:56, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- The part about the A1GP circuit seems irrelevant and out of date since Durban has, from press reports, abandoned seeking to host that event to Kyalami in Gauteng. There are also some pretty cogent arguments against the escalating spend and necessity of the stadium. Without detracting, this social history / criticism of the stadium should be noted in this entry. Or not? BlandBaroque (talk) 05:21, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Availability to public
[edit]Is this stadium's arch open to the general public during the week?? dengray@telkomsa.net(41.244.192.154 (talk) 23:19, 28 August 2010 (UTC))
- Should be. FFMG (talk) 04:35, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

South African English: Soccer vs. Football
[edit]This article currently has roughly a 50/50 mix of "football" and "soccer". "Football" is a bit confusing and jarring to the South African audience. In keeping with Wikipedia's guidance to match the style of English with the nationality of the topic, I am going to change the mentions of "football" to "soccer".
