And I noticed there are some difference on the info when he was appointed chief of police in the chronology of Jews and his biography. 1845 and 1854 are the options. Thanks for reviewing! I went ahead and added a source for the first point, and edited ALT1 with a date. Regarding the year of his appointment: in his obituary in the Montreal Herald it mentions that he had been chief for seven years, confirming the 1854 date. –Ploni (talk) 12:53, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
