The article's lead mentions that Bali, Indonesia is a place where mortgages are not available (and the cited source does back that up). However, I wonder why Bali would be singled out for that. I realize that Indonesia has a predominantly Muslim population and Islam traditionally prohibits loaning money at interest (see Islamic banking and finance). But Bali is one of the least Muslim areas of Indonesia. The population of the province is over 80% Hindu. Does anyone have more information about whether mortgages are available in the rest of Indonesia? --Metropolitan90 (talk) 20:48, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Closed vs Open

I came to this page hoping to find a brief explanation of "closed mortgage" and "open mortgage". The two terms are used a few times in the article so it would be helpful if they were explained. Walkingstick3 (talk) 16:31, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
