99/92 More FM in Canterbury
[edit]I remember growing up in Lincoln with this station. If I recall correctly, the station first launched on the 99.3 frequency as 99 More FM, and then moved to 92, with a signal "five times more powerful". In addition, radio hosts James and Ken (I do not remember their full names) moved from 91 ZM to More FM around the same time. I'd like to add this, but I don't have anything to back it up with --WillMcC 18:36, 11 May 2007 (UTC) ("Ninety-two is Christchurch...More FM!")
Removal of content
[edit]I recently removed ALL presenters/hosts that were not notable per WP:LISTPEOPLE. Also per WP:NOTRADIOGUIDE, all time slots were removed and & both items were unsourced. So, in the words of another user:
“ | Lists of people must meet the criteria listed at WP:LISTPEOPLE. Articles have been protected to prevent these additions and/or the editors in question blocked when they persistently continue to reinsert inappropriate material. If a name is included in the article in this way, it has to show that it's relevant to the subject by meeting WP:LISTPEOPLE. Just because a station lists its employees doesn't mean Wikipedia needs to as well, and other station articles needing similar cleanup doesn't mean this one doesn't need to be cleaned up, because whenever it's actually discussed on a station article, the end result is the same; the names that don't meet WP:LISTPEOPLE are removed. Wikipedia is also not a directory. See here, here, and here for previous discussions about this. | ” |
In other words -- Don't add names that do not have an article, don't add time slots and don't add unsourced content! Corkythehornetfan | Chat? 03:21, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
