[edit]I added the WikiProject Caribbean box with a "high" importance level--this is actually a pretty important article related to JA history. -RoBoTamice 20:14, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure that "Randall Brown" had nothing to do with the Morant Bay Rebellion. Not clear where that error crept in, but it's Paul Bogle, as the article states at the beginning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.97.185.132 (talk) 17:01, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Introduction

Lede
[edit]I cannot see how the opening para of the lede, contributed by Parkwells on 13/7/16, summarises the story better than the one he deleted, reproduced here:
- The Morant Bay rebellion (11 October 1865) was a protest march in Jamaica by Afro-Jamaicans against widespread poverty, where most freedmen were prevented from voting by property qualifications, and living conditions had been worsened by floods, cholera, smallpox and a long drought. Valetude (talk) 00:56, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
Conflict infobox
[edit]A conflict or protest infobox should be added in place of the "Infobox civilian attack" that there is right now. Bly000 (talk) 20:59, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
