Merge with Montreal (orchestra)
[edit]Go ahead. I have no idea why someone created a separate page for Montreal (orchestra) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Grover cleveland (talk • contribs) 17:14, September 24, 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. Merge Montreal (orchestra) into Montreal Symphony Orchestra —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.216.49.54 (talk • contribs) 15:11, October 5, 2006 (UTC)
I, Emile Subirana, played with the Montreal Symphony in the 70s. The names that appear in this page are NOT those of the MSO with a very few exceptions. The names are Montreal musicians but not the MSO. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.70.248.89 (talk • contribs) 12:36, October 10, 2006 (UTC)
The names on this list are not verifiable, and a partial list of putative orchestra members from 1974-1979 is entirely irrelevant to the entry on the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. This entry, Montreal (orchestra) ought to be rendered up-to-date and accurate or else deleted entirely. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Guy2580 (talk • contribs) 02:12, October 14, 2006 (UTC)
Montreal (orchestra) should probably be treated the same as London (orchestra), Milan (orchestra), Los Angeles (orchestra), Philadelphia (orchestra) and Detroit (orchestra). All of these (and some that have been merged into other articles or deleted) were created by User:Drphilharmonic in December 2005 apparently for the purpose of providing links to the Disco article. __meco 06:58, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- I suggest deletion of Montreal (orchestra). (1) The page is out of date. (2) The title is vague. (3) It is not clear why there should be such a list in Wikipedia. The same goes for all similar pages. Zaslav 06:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Merged: Due to no support for keeping Montreal (orchestra) content as is, and since information on that page is uncited, plus the fact this discussion has lingered for 6 months or so, it was made a redirect to Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Dl2000 22:59, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
