search not picking up new articles

[edit]

Searching for "Germino" does not find this article. I understand there is a lag in updating the search index, but even using Google to search Wikipedia does not find this page. Yet those Google search results include updates made after this page was created (e.g. her name in Dutch musicians & Violinists). Why is this happening? I am noticing the exact same thing happening with Cristina Zavalloni when searching for "Zavalloni". - Istvan 21:07, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Not sure why, as you say the search indexes are only rebuild periodically so things don't always show up that quickly, regarding the workings of Google, that'd be something you'd have to ask them, there is nothing within these pages which is preventing google indexing them. --pgk(talk) 22:48, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever the issue was, it's since been resolved. IstvanWolf (talk) 21:17, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clean Up

[edit]

I've done some clean up and removed large amounts of content that were copyright violations (see WP:COPYVIO]]). I've added sourced content. The notability of this BLP subject is questionable and sources are lacking. Please be aware that unsourced or poorly sourced content may be challenged and removed by any editor per WP:BLP.--KeithbobTalk 01:39, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Maintenance template removal

[edit]

It appears the issue has been adequately addressed: "reliable secondary sources that are independent of the topic Monica_Germino and provide significant coverage of it beyond its mere trivial mention." I am novice user and have never removed a template. Seeking consensus and if another editor agrees, removal of template. --Katyarose (talk) 12:50, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
