Richard Appel's wife...

[edit]

Age

[edit]

Remember that no one has an official birth year, as characters' ages never change, just the birth year. But she Dies in 2008.

Question

[edit]

Is Mona Simpson inspired from fugitive Eleanor Jarman? Siyavash 03:09, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think she may be based on the 1988 film Running on Empty. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.192.244.35 (talk) 04:19, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected

[edit]

Why does "Penelope Simpson redirect here? when this is about Mona Simpson? 80.229.169.189 17:25, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

in the simpsons uncensored family album the family tree gives abe's wife's name as penelope olsen. we need to keep the redirect.

Of Note

[edit]

Are we certain that 'grandma' Simpson's first name is really Mona? I've watched the Mother Simpson episode looking for her first name, and they seem to be very careful not to mention it. The only place Mona was seen was on an I.D. that Bart found along with several other fake I.D.'s. Do they mention her name in another episode? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.202.38.123 (talk) 04:10, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now that the show has actually aired, it should be ok to mention her death. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.128.5 (talk) 03:38, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just wrote a little bit about her death. Im not that good at editing so you guys can see to fix anything you like. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.83.80.13 (talk) 07:38, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is there anything known about why they let her die? This should be mentioned then. --94.220.228.28 (talk) 10:04, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Step-son?

[edit]

Herb Powell is/was Mona's step-son regardless. It IS relevant information for the Info box. (Please don't write me off and delete this).

I don't think that's how it works. Your stepmom is your dad's new wife, not your dad's present wife when you're a bastard, right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.122.63.142 (talk) 17:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We try to limit the family infoboxes to direct family and major characters, otherwise the ones for the Simpson family would be enormous. -- Scorpion0422 17:19, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article has multiple banner issues and is obviously poorly written. The reception section is also filled with listicles only without that much commentary. 🍕Boneless Pizza!🍕 (🔔) 12:30, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
