Split proposal

[edit]

From the hatnote on the page, and the sources it is clear therefore two women named Moll King in this era in London which have been conflated in this article. One a petty criminal who was possibly the basis of Defoe's Moll Flanders, the other wife Tom King and co-proprietor of Tom King's Coffee House. One I propose the article be split to reflect this, and have largely rearranged the content to reflect there two different women of this name.

Elizabeth Adkins is rarely used in the sources, Moll King being how she is normally referred to. As per WP:COMMONNAME, the article should be Moll King. To distinguish the two articles I suggest Moll King (coffee house proprietor) and Moll King (criminal), the current redirect, Moll King becoming a disambiguation page. --John B123 (talk) 20:45, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As there have been no objections I have split the article --John B123 (talk) 15:44, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
