The article currently introduces molecular wires as a category of materials, lists some of their properties and potential uses. An expanded article should clearly separate issues into categories, perhaps into:

molecular wire materials (categories, examples) generic and specific properties phenomenology, particularly quantum transport applications

DNA has unclear function?

I just removed the following (bolded) part of a phrase:

One naturally-occurring molecular wire is DNA, although its biological function is unclear.

If anyone can reconstruct what was meant by "unclear", that would be helpful.–Jérôme (talk) 19:34, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
