The article seems to be describing MDN (mobile device number), which is the phone number one would dial. MINs are used to route calls, and are more analogous to a subscriber id. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.40.111.98 (talk) 19:41, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

MIN sometimes same as phone number and sometimes not

If you port your number from one carrier to another, the MIN is changed.[1] Also, if you get a used phone, the MIN could be the old number of the line associated with the phone. Heyzeuss (talk) 02:11, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
