Article expansion suggestions
[edit]This should be expanded to consider free-route vs. cascade mixes, pool mixes, timed mixes, stop-and-go mixes, timed-dynamic pool mixes, and the other classes of Chaumian mixes.
Re-encryption mixes, aka cryptographic shuffles or bulletin-board mixes, should be mentioned here but have their own section as they are technically distinct.
Onion routing, including the original Onion Router, Tor, as well as the related ZKS Freedom Network should be mentioned but noted as being different than mixes (with perhaps an explanation of why).
Pictures would be rather helpful.
For some basics on this topic, the Freehaven Anonbib (http://freehaven.net/anonbib/) is invaluable.
Lastly, a list of implementations of mixes would be sensible.

Article is pretty much worthless.
[edit]This article has confused onion routing and mix network. Mix networks don’t have to use onion routing, and onion routing systems need to use mixes (e.g. Tor). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.156.110.54 (talk) 11:01, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
