'Plot' Rewrite

I just rewrote most of the plot summary. Focus seemed to be on the wrong things, with some lack of clarity on the timeline of events. My edit isn't perfect, nor particularly well-written, but I haven't got the time right now to make it easier to read. If somebody else has the time, I've no objection to changes.
