Mistley Quay

[edit]

Why are a couple of editors constantly deleting information about the fencing off of Mistley Quay? The bare bones are as follows: In September 2008 a 2-metre high, 130-metre long fence was erected across the quay. A protest group was formed to object to the fence, claiming that it ended 500 years of free access to the water. [1] This seems to me to be entirely appropriate information to include. Could those who disagree please discuss here, rather than just delete? Thanks. SNALWIBMA ( talk - contribs ) 07:36, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thorn Quay Warehouse

[edit]

The information about Thorn Quay Warehouse added on 16th March 2014 does not fall within WP:NOTNEWS, because 'editors are encouraged to include current and up-to-date information within [Wikipedia's] coverage' and 'including information on recent developments is sometimes appropriate'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PeterEssexHeritage (talkcontribs) 21:30, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
