Secession

The following is unintentionally misleading:

"Confederates from the original convention were to hold their own meeting at declare the state had joined the Confederate States of America."

The rump legislature did not hold a convention, but instead approved secession on its own. Red Harvest (talk) 13:58, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
