Mithqalpalli Mosque

[edit]

I presume that Mithqalpalli is Mishkal, in a different Indian language. Mithqalpalli is the version used by Shokoohy in the Google Books architectural history link that I added -- and also by User:Adam63, the photographer of the article's Commons image. Could someone insert a brief linguistic explanation in the article? NinetyNineFennelSeeds (talk) 13:55, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, there is a second image from User:Adam63 at Commons. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mithqalpalli_Mosque_-_Kozhikode_-_Kerala_02.JPG NinetyNineFennelSeeds (talk) 13:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
