I added a section about an account of failed healings on the part of Joseph Smith. I hope this clears up the accusation of bias. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronkimmons (talkcontribs) 22:04, 21 April 2012‎

Yes, that totally clears up the problem. Thank you for your work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.31.99.32 (talk) 18:30, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Matthew 7 KJV

[edit]

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

I think this quote would more condemn Mormons as false prophets than talk of how apostles sometimes failed to perform miracles. In my interpration it more says that people who promise miracles are fail to deliver are "false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." and they should be "hewn down, and cast into the fire.". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.49.184.104 (talkcontribs) 02:02, 8 June 2012‎

Expand

[edit]

I think the section under translations could be expanded to include documented experiences of speaking and interpreting tongues, perhaps specifically the instance of Brigham Young speaking in Adamic? 1) This would require trusted third party sources and I'm not sure there are any.
2) This would have to be about Joseph Smith since this article is "Miracles of Joseph Smith". This fact being about someone else I find that difficult to accomplish.
