Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a musical recording that does not indicate its own importance and where the artist's article does not exist, because... the song was recorded by two significant artists in the Jewish community that have had existing Wikipedia pages for several years. This is not insignificant material.

Contesting speedy deletion

[edit]

Shlock Rock "revised and popularised" the song, and have an article, so this doesn't meet A9 where "none of the contributing recording artists has an article". --McGeddon (talk) 19:28, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Minyan Man was composed in 1982, documented by this published article and on the original recording's voice notes (YouTube)

[edit]

  • What I think should be changed: Add in 1982 to the first sentence: "Minyan Man" is a song composed in 1982 by Victor Shine
  • Why it should be changed: To reflect accuracy. (Conflict disclosure - I am the author)
  • References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):

Also listen to the voice note 7 seconds in on the original recording on YouTube. Search for "MINYAN MAN ORIGINAL NOV 1986 Remastered Apr 2019"
