Merge with other minuteman article?
[edit]There are a couple of cites claiming this is "wholly distinct" from the other Minuteman organization, but they were founded by the same person and have the exact same objectives as far as can be told from the articles here. Since there's really nothing added by this article, I suggest it be relegated to a subsection of the other article, if anything. Maybe for tax purposes they are "wholly distinct," but it's obvious that they are not really distinct. 66.74.216.147 (talk) 04:42, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
NEGATIVE:
They endorse different Candidates every election year. Further Research is necessary past Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.198.12.162 (talk) 01:40, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
This article is clearly being used to defend the "Minuteman Project" from any wrongdoing (let alone the dangerous art of fence building) of the "Minuteman Civil Defense Corps" by claiming that they are different. But this article contains no pertinent information on who the "Minuteman Civil Defense Corps" is, what they do, and how they are different. (The sited article (5) is a very short letter by Jim Gilchrist claiming that his Minuteman Project doesn't build fences.) Therefore I personally do not see the importance of this article if it is not updated to clearly state my previously mentioned objectives. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.132.36.101 (talk) 18:01, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
They're legally separate organizations. Some insight here.[1] Nevard (talk) 09:08, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Removed Link to Murders of Raul and Brisenia Flores
[edit]To include this was nothing short of a logical fallacy by implying that because one of their (expelled) members is a cold-blooded killer that all of them are. If anyone wants to include the line that was removed it must be fleshed out in a manner that is fair to all parties involved.
