Request for Info

[edit]

Does anybody have any specific information on Emergency Services in MNWG? If so, that would be great. This article is largely undeveloped as you can tell, and could use any info you can provide. ~~planes~~

Suggestion for use of template

[edit]

I would suggest taking a look at Connecticut Wing Civil Air Patrol. Not to brag about my article, but it could probably be used as a pretty good template. Much of the information is the same, and Minnesota is the only other wing with a Wikipedia page. Good luck! Codharris (talk) 03:10, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple Issues Template

[edit]

I've flagged the article with the multiple issues template due to a nearly complete lack of sources and citations, a contradiction between the infobox text and the more recently edited (but unsourced) article text regarding the number of cadets in the wing, a conflict between the names given in the infobox and the same list on the wing's official website, and other issues. Every article in Wikipedia needs to have properly sourced citations or the information (or even the entire article) is subject to deletion at some point. I don't want to see that, but articles need to be supported by more than just self-published sources or it can happen. For articles on the Civil Air Patrol, a good source that can be used to cite specific information about the CAP's activities is the local newspaper. Yes, I realize that often, when newspapers even bother to report on the CAP they simply print the press release that was provided by a PAO, but to the rest of the world, this provides the third-party verification that is required for an encyclopedia, while direct edits based on personal knowledge by members or leaders or PAOs is considered original research.  Etamni | ✉  09:13, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
