List is wrong
[edit]The current list is wrong. There were three simultaneous ministers for Iceland in 1917 and 1918. If you want an official source for that, see e.g. [1]. 95.166.78.149 (talk) 16:45, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, you are right. I have tried to clarify the January 1917 to November 1918 situation in the article. Jon Magnússon chaired a three man (micro-)cabinets as PM from 4 January to 30 November 1918. It included Jón Magnússon (Home Rule Party), Björn Kristjansson (old Independence Party) and Sigurður Jónsson (Progressive Party). Björn Kristjansson left the cabinet on 28 August 1917 after an internal conflict in the (deeply factionalized) Independence Party (not sure what it was about) and was replaced with Sigurður Eggerz from the radical tversum faction of the Independence Party (not sure what the conflict was about or if Jónsson belonged to the same faction, although I think he did). Kristjansson and Eggerz were both Minister of Finance, while Sigurður Jónsson was Minister of "Works" (= Public Works), which seems to have included an extremely wide variety of things, but there were portfolios. This needs to be included in the article somehow (but not easy to source).--Batmacumba (talk) 23:18, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
