Inconsistencies regarding proximality and distality

[edit]

Comparing the personal pronouns table in the current article to the one in the article at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Georgian_grammar, I notice that:

  • there is an inconsistency with respect to the Georgian entries in both tables regarding which of them are indicated as proximal and distal;
  • there is an inconsistency in the current table which explains "That (close to speaker)" whereas, in English, "that" is used for distal entities rather than proximal ones.

I intend to change the current table in order to resolve those inconsistencies, thus:

  Mingrelian Laz Georgian
I ma ma me
You (sing.) si si šen
This (proximal) ena aya es
That (distal) ina ia is
We čki/čkə čki čven
You (pl.) tkva tkvan tkven
These (proximal) (t)enepi antepe eseni
Those (distal) (t)inepi entepe isini

But since I have no or hardly any knowledge of each of both languages, I thought I would check whether I am not introducing errors.Redav (talk) 12:08, 31 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
