why should that be deleted?
[edit]explain please specifically.--Ilovesabbath (talk) 08:05, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- that person is famous in s.korea. let me explain some reason.
- economic expectations which is more believable than the gov.
- his criticism on economic policies of the gov.
- freedom of expressions
so that person has made many issues in s.korea. if contents is too short and miscellanious, that's because my english and writing is poor, not this subject important.--Ilovesabbath (talk) 08:20, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- and korean wikipedia also debated about deleting it(ko:위키백과:삭제 토론/아고라 미네르바) korean wiki decided to maintain this article. the reason is that this person is frequently reported by all korean news. i don't think this article will be nothing to english-using people.--Ilovesabbath (talk) 08:33, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- there're news links.

There was a blurb about him in a recent issue of The Economist. That's notable enough. 144.89.186.134 (talk) 06:55, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Give it a different title?
[edit]I know he is mentioned often by Korean media and some non-Korean presses mentions recent events on him. Anyway, apart from notability, "(Agora ID)" sounds like Konglish. So what about "(Daum Agora user)", using proper English words and confirming Agora of where?

I agree. ID could be replaced with "username" or "name used on bulletin board". For now, Minerva (Agora user) may do.
- i agree, too. 아이디도 콩글리시였군요.--Ilovesabbath (talk) 13:59, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Style
[edit]We need to leave some notes on the style of the article. Fortunately, there has been some cosmetic touch, but the article is still badly structured (IMHO). The same goes for the Japanese Minerva article.
1. Someone needs to restructure the chronology of events, major events, debates, etc. so some of us can fill them in.
2. We need to elaborate on his famous postings and the controversy surrounding his identity.
The Suspect's Identity
[edit]At this time, it does not seem desirable to specify the suspect's name. We do not know if he is the man behind all unless it is proven in court.
Someone has just added his announced real name (by the prosecutors); shall we remove this for now? He is still waiting for a trial.
- Minerva's real name is already spread thru media, and also, he declared that he will use his real name instead of 'Minerva'. And I announce that the first trial gave him a decision of 'not guilty', and the prosecutors decided to bring an appeal. adidas (talk) 16:06, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
