I've heard it pronounced locally and in Kenora as "mih-NAH-kee" [məˈnæːˌki] (raccoonny) 17:44, 19 June 2015 (UTC–6)

In the 50 years that I have been a seasonal resident, I have only ever heard it pronounced "mih-NAH-kee" Moorespoint (talk) 19:21, 24 November 2015 (UTC) moorespoint[reply]
