Copyvio

[edit]

People...you cannot literally cut-and-paste other web pages and slap an infobox to create a new article! I just had to remove most of the "article" since it was a straight copy from http://www.milkinc.be/testv4/eng/historiek/histo.html. --Stéphane Charette 06:48, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I just edited the subsection about Filip Vandueren to make it more readable for native English speakers. I'm not sure I got everything right, and the last sentence still confuses me, so corrections are welcome.

When I went to find out more about this guy, I discovered that his brief bios at http://www.milkinc.be/bio.php and http://www.dancevibes.be/artists/milk-inc-biography-discography/ were identical to ours. So we were violating copyright, again. Wikipedia has rules against copyright violations, and it is important for us to respect other people's copyrights. Please do not cut-and-paste text from other websites into Wikipedia. You can always put a link on this page and ask for someone else to write something for the article.

As far as I can tell from a quick look, that subsection was the only part copied from http://www.milkinc.be/bio.php. I didn't check against any other websites.

Incidentally, I did not find an English-language website for Filip Vandueren. I did find his twitter page, but it doesn't link to a personal website. Does anyone have a link?

Linda Mertens is back

[edit]

Linda Mertens is back! Maybe not with the name of "Milk Inc", but she is acting again. On november 12th, she will perform at Yesterday party on Carmen 24, Alicante. Maybe we should edit the article to include the comeback of Linda 81.202.198.42 (talk) 03:08, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
