[edit]--What does "DFD" stand for? Is that meant to be a commonly understood term? I can't find a definition for it on wiki or anywhere for that matter211.30.122.32 (talk) 03:35, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- DFD = 'Died From Disease'. It is a fairly generic reference though, and could refer to diseases, illness, dying from wounds subsequent to an action etc. KIA is 'Killed in action'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.201.206.167 (talk) 08:17, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
