Title?
[edit]Military History Detachment or Military history detachment? – ukexpat (talk) 01:08, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- My thought was that it is a type of official military unit always capalized in the references that I saw. I mean, you wouldn't do 101st Airborne Division as 101st airborne division, would you? Sadads (talk) 11:16, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- Not quite. The article is about the generic military history detachment, not about a particular one. So just as we we would say that the 101st Airborne Division is a specific airborne division, we would say that the 46th Military History Detachment is a specific military history detachment. Indeed the first and third references refer to them as "military history detachments". – ukexpat (talk) 02:20, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
