WP:Military History Assessment Commentary

[edit]

The article was assessed C-class for lack of Coverage. This article is a good start, and may answer most of the questions the average reader has, but there are several points that are missing, and the focus of the article is almost entirely on the present, with almost no mention of the history of the military funeral in the U.S. The primary contributor, and interested editors, should consider the following: description and conditions of burials at sea, US military funerals and cemeteries in other countries, funerals when there are no remains present (as the individual may be MIA or might have donated his body to science), history of the U.S. military funeral, history and significance of Taps, among other possible topics. Good luck. Boneyard90 (talk) 06:01, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
