Check the dates

[edit]

There are probably a few errors in the dates given in this article, due to a confusion between Julian and Gregorian calendars. Unfortunately, the other sources available on the internet do not specify whether the dates they mention are in O.S. or N.S. In any event, it seems to me likely that the completion date of the palace (August 30, 1825) is in N.S., which would therefore give August 18 in O.S. As for the decree of Nicholas II turning the palace into a museum, the sources indicate either 13 or 14 April 1895, still without specifying in which calendar, but it is in any case impossible for the O.S. date to be after the N.S. date (as stated in the article). The most likely would be April 26, 1895 (April 14 O.S.). Clio XIX-XX (talk) 10:20, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
