Why does the Baby Carrot article that references this one claim that he invented baby carrots in 1990, when this article claims he invented them in the early 80s?

"Many people are surprised to learn that the "baby carrot" that is popular in the US is not a separate breed but a way of processing regular full sized carrots to increase utilization and decrease waste." Who in God's name is SUPRISED to find that out?

And then it goes on to say he didn't invent it...CRON (talk) 00:52, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
