Did Mike Terry play on "Fingertips"?

[edit]

Stevie Wonder’s "Fingertips" was recorded live on June 1, 1962, at the Regal Theater in Chicago, and was Motown’s second #1 hit single. Was Mike Terry in the backing band? I can’t find any details yet.

Terry was apparently on the Oct-Dec 1962 Motortown Revue tour which led to the live album Motor-Town Revue Vol. 1: Recorded Live At The Apollo (recorded Dec 1962). And Terry can be seen playing baritone sax in the backing band (also known as Choker Campbell and his Band, or his Orchestra) in live footage of the Motortown Revue on Youtube, here [1], which was filmed at the Apollo Theater in 1963.

According to the liner notes of The Miracles’ 2006 DVD The Definitive Performances (1963–1987) the film footage is from the Apollo in April 1963, but according to https://soul-concerts.fandom.com/wiki/Motortown_Revue the revue tour commenced in April 1963 in Chicago and played the Apollo on June 4, 1963.

According to statements here [2], by the film maker Charles J. Dorkins, he shot the Apollo footage on June 4, 1963.
