What does "homoglated" mean? OK, I know what it means, but surely there is a better word to use in an article such as this.

News 24 helicopter

[edit]

During BBC News 24's coverage of the Atherstone on stour warehouse fire, they talked to the helicopter pilot (which is something I've never heard the BBC do before), and introduced him as Mike Smith. I recognized the voice immediately. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rjmunro (talkcontribs) 12:00, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted back to most recent version after user blanked page for no reason

[edit]

I'm not sure why someone would choose to start vandalising this page just after someone has died, or randomly blank it without any reasoning. I've reverted the article to the most recent version that seems un-vandalised.Mwmonk (talk) 19:19, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Primarily because some people are sick in the head. They mistakenly believe that such actions are humorous, or that they might titillate or impress 'their friends'. Sadly Wikipedia, by its very existence (free to edit etc.), attracts such idiots like a moth to the flame. Anyhow, well done you for leaping in and defending the vaguely sane majority.
