I don't think Mike Pohjola qualifies as a "politician". Yes, he was running in 2004 and 2008 municipal elections but has never held any political office or been involved in the political decision-making, and as far as I'm aware, hasn't been a party officer. In the recent (2012) municipal elections there were over 37,000 candidates (I, for instance, personally knew several) but we hardly call them all "politicians".
