Notability prod

[edit]

I see this article has received a prod on the grounds of notability. I have improved the linking and added some references to support the assertions made. He is a senior civil servant acting as CEO for the public Sector National Health Service authority with a budget running into billions of pounds. He has also been a key individual in leading changes in how health care is delivered in the UK. I have not removed the notability banner as I would welcome the comments of others on whether this makes an adequate case for notability.— Rod talk 14:47, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and will remove the prod tag. The references show that he has been a major factor in changes to the NHS which affect the whole population of England and Wales - definitely notable. Phil Bridger (talk) 12:37, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
