Guilty plea

[edit]

I assume "was subsequently charged with" and "suspended pending a police investigation", etc should now be rewritten to reflect this? ElectronicsForDogs (talk) 13:19, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I see this was already done for the "Third term (2024-)" section, so I went ahead and updated the intro too. Let me know if everyone is happy with my wording or not!
I did consider changing "member of the public" to "constituent". ElectronicsForDogs (talk) 13:36, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ReFill

[edit]

Hello User:DeFacto. With regard to your improvement here: the previous format was the automatic result of the much-used tool Refill. You might like to raise that as an issue at Wikipedia talk:reFill? Many thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:46, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Martinevans123, I don't use that tool. Do you just point it at a bare reference and it somehow fills a cite in for it? It makes a mess of BBC News cites too, but at least it doesn't suggest their content isn't published by them, which was what it did with the Telegraph one. -- DeFacto (talk). 22:26, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's all you do. It saves a lot of time, but it has its deficiencies, e.g. no access-date. Someone who uses the tool a lot is User:Derek R Bullamore, who might be able to advise further. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:30, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
