Costumes

It seems like Mika is always wearing more than the other members of MiniMoni, in the PVs and such. When they're wearing short skirts, she's in a full-body jumpsuit. In the "Crazy About You" video, they're all wearing short tank tops, and she's wearing a sort of long coat over it. Why? Is she hiding a not-so-nice figure or something? The reason varies depending on whom you ask. The official reason given by Mari was because Mika was taller, but I don't buy that. I believe the real reason was because she was a foreigner, and the Japanese are a bit neurotic when it comes to gaigokujin. They didn't want there to be any confusion in the minds of the children watching. Mika's role in the group was also different: she was the "cool American" who taught English and world facts, as opposed to Mari who was the boss and Nono and Aibon who were the troublemakers. Mother's nationality?
