This article reads like a PR piece for the MIMA institute, and does not take into account the criticism of the MIMA project by local news outlets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.156.4.28 (talkcontribs) 23:17, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Reply:) Erm, well as the author of much of the piece, I'm not sure I especially agree... I wasn't aware of that much criticism of the gallery itself outside of the select opinions of certain writers to the Evening Gazette letters pages, and that of Craig Hornby and his fears that it could turn into the next Stockton Arc - a "giant white spaceship" or something to that effect. Clearly, if I've been researching thoroughly in one direction, then I certainly mustn't have been in another. Oh, and I am, by the way, unconnected to the gallery except to say that I am a local, Middlesbrough-born Fine Art student who obviously by virtue of that naturally has direct and regular access to the gallery.

Still, I admit that there's much personal research here, containing certain claims for which references to original material will certainly be needed (Arthur Dorman's initial 1904 plans, say). I'm happy to tend to that in due course. MRacer 12:04, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
