@Alexandermcnabb: Note that this artery is in fact not covered in the maxillary artery article: it is merely mentioned as a branch of the infraorbital artery. This article clearly provides multiple relevant data about this structure not mentioned in the maxillary artery article; neither would it make sense to transfer the content of this article into the maxillary artery article as, by that logic, all content about branches and branches of branches of the maxillary artery should be covered in the maxillary artery article (if anything, the content should be transferred into the infraorbital artery article). Furthermore, the anterior superior alveolar artery has its own dedicated article, as do all other named arteries that are branches of the maxillary artery.

On a more general note, I think it is always better to create separate articles for named anatomical structures where a couple of sentences can be written about the topic instead of cramming everything into a single article about a "parent structure" - the latter practice impairs readability and hampers future expansion of content about the individual "subsidiary structures".
