Floating Cellulose pellicle. The bacterial cellulose pellicles float, this is evident. BUT, cellulose has a density of approximately 1.55 kg/L, compared to slightly below 1 kg/L for water. They should sink. Why do they float? Trapped air bubbles? Vegar Ottesen 10:22, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Bacterial cellulose

[edit]

These two articles are the exact same topic. Opabinia regalis (talk) 05:27, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support, indeed, it is the exact same topic Kyle MoJo (talk) 19:42, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done Tried to merge the two, but every piece of info and ref in this article was already in the Bacterial cellulose article. So I just redirected. If anyone has a problem with that, feel free to revert. Thanks for bringing this up! Sorry it took me a year to get to it! Ajpolino (talk) 20:47, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
