Sandline International
[edit]Was ranger part of Sandline International? This quote seems to imply so:
According to Peter Goslar, once a close friend of Riaan Stander, other board members of Bridge SA were Colonel Tim Spicer and Mick Ranger "of Sandline fame".
British Army Lt Col Tim Spicer was but I don't know about Ranger... -- Esemono 14:34, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Hello There,
I know this probably isn't the best place to post this and I have no intentions to disrespect Mr Ranger.
I have a UK registered company and deal in exporting cars.I am interested in starting up an Arms Brokering business and trying to gather some information and advice. Would anyone know where to start from.Do UK and Cyprus based companies have to apply for FFL? There seem to be a limited information on the net.
Hope someone will help.

Unclear sentence
[edit]"Ranger knew of the restrictions and told the reporter not use the word, "Iraq" in any paperwork."
I'm not sure how this sentence is meant to read. I wonder if there's supposed to be "he would" between "reporter" and "not." I'll remove the comma, but leave the clarification to someone else. tildetildetildetilde —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.36.119.188 (talk) 02:20:05, August 18, 2007 (UTC)
Very shoddy page
[edit]There was an unbelievable amount of POV and plain unsupported claims on this page, which I have done my best to tone down. In particular, the claim that "questionable dealings often end up violating United Nations embargoes" is not supported by the cited sources. The Syria deal was also misrepresented; a more objective reading of the cited source suggests Ranger wanted clear assurances that the weapons would not end up in Iraq.
