Creation
[edit]This page represents the merger of three WP:FFLs: Lists of Michigan Wolverines football passing leaders, Lists of Michigan Wolverines football receiving leaders, Lists of Michigan Wolverines football rushing leaders. It was first created during a merger discussion (see Talk:Lists of Michigan Wolverines football passing leaders) that was a precursor to the FL demotion discussions.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 04:27, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Pre-1949 data
[edit]The lists are currently limited to the years from 1949 to 2010. That excludes some 70 years of Michigan football, including many of the "true" all-time statistical leaders. For example, it excludes Willie Heston's 72 rushing touchdowns. Eventually, as we develop a fuller reference set of pre-1949 data, we really ought to include them.
