Wilbon Wiki Reference
[edit]I added a little trivia section and quoted Wilbon after he said that he checks his Wiki entry and that if "crazy stuff is on there, I'm gonna see it."
That's not vandalism. That's truth. It happened. It's a reference to Wiki. It should be included. At least it is here.

- That did happen, and you, I, and about 100 other people tried to add it to the page, creating a disaster. Now that the page is semi-protected, the info can be added. Your edit was reverted to deal with all the vandalism. Oren0 22:51, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I reverted back to the February 19 version (the last version before the current flurry of editing), because there was too much accumulated vandalism amidst all the recent edits to try to sort it out, especially with new edits coming every few seconds. The article is currently semi-protected due to the vandalism, but any legitimate updates can be done by those who can edit it still (logged in users who have been on Wikipedia for more than a few days). Then after the current TV attention dies down we can open up full editing again. Note of course that we should have reliable sources for anything that's added, such as a newspaper article. --Delirium 22:52, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Finally it's protected. Tony Kornheiser had a good deal of vandalism from the show too. Sabar 22:53, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Everything associated with PTI is being vandalized. I had to delete some stuff from Tony Reali's page, and Kornheiser got it just as bad as Wilbon. Perhaps anything associated with PTI should be temporarily protected.
- There is one particular line about Wilbon that is quite inaccurate dealing with apparent "crack smoking." I cannot change this but someone with authority should. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Branlieb (talk • contribs) 05:18, 28 February 2007 (UTC).
Wilbon's referenced washingtonian article by harry jaffe is incorrect. The url is listed in the careers section and should point to http://www.washingtonian.com/articles/mediapolitics/3236.html. The url is currently pointing to the incorrect url of http://www.usatoday.com/sports/2006-12-27-wilbon_x.htm. Judgedog7 17:35, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- The article was unprotected too long... I just removed the protection so you can make the edit yourself now. --W.marsh 17:40, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Northwestern / University of Illinois Rivalry
[edit]The page says that the University of Illinois basketball team has a heated rivalry with the Northwestern basketball team. This is news to me. As a recent alum of UIUC, and having a father who went to Northwestern, there is no rivalry as far as I can tell, certainly not "heated". Seanahan 17:42, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
