Michael. As promised I have gone through the citations.

  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/gloucestershire/content/articles/2007/05/17/gloucestershire_blues_feature.shtml I removed this cite all together as the article does not support the facts in the preceding sentence, indeed it does not even mention the EBA.
  2. Pearson 1990. Could you explain what fact this citation is supposed to be supporting as the book does not appear to mention you by name - see [1]
  3. I have added a url for Wynn 2007
  4. Please provide a cite for the 1994 DC Mayor's Award. I can't find you mentioned on the list of Mayor's Arts Awards Winners since 1981 on dc.gov

At the moment I am seeing a few reliable sources that support the facts of the article but nothing yet which speaks to the notability. You need to provide some sources which provide significant coverage, i.e. more than a trivial mention. Kind regards, Nancy talk 15:52, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nancy, I have made some modifications hopefully dealing with the points you've raised. Wih regard to the notability criteria, doesn't the fact the I am mentioned in the Piedmont Blues page by whoever wrote this article, suggest that I am a notable musician in this genre? After all this is what prompted me to submit the article. Kind regards, Michael Roach. —Preceding unsigned comment added by EurobluesUK (talkcontribs) 13:32, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at WP:MUSICBIO you will see the notability requirements for musicians. There are a number of criteria of which you only need to meet one. Looking at them, I'm guessing you would be looking to qualify under no. 1 - significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources. In answer to your question about Piedmont Blues, Wikipedia does not consider itself to be a reliable source because anyone can edit it. Kind regards, Nancy talk 19:02, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nancy, Yes I would like inclusion under section 1 of WP:MUSICBIO. Also please can you advise me on what I need to do to have the other two warnings removed from the artice i.e. Quality and neutral viewpoit? Thanks in advance. Michael. —Preceding unsigned comment added by EurobluesUK (talkcontribs) 11:10, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
