I can't quite figure out this guy's year of birth. McGovern says he's 48, but it's unclear whether that was as of the book's original year of publication (2007) or the paperback's (2008). We'd be looking at a 1959 or 1960 birth there. But the Statesman article puts him at 53 as of October 2010, so that's a 1957 or 1958 birth. 1960 sounds a bit too young to be playing pro hockey in 1981 if he went to college. I am not going to give you COL Mulligan's birth date or anyone else's for that matter, but he is definitely not 48, I can guarantee that.
