Good article review (see Wikipedia:What is a good article? for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.:
    a (prose): b (MoS):
    • Article is well written I didn't notice any grammatical errors.

#*"...been ranked 23rd overall among prospects playing in North America by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau. He was chosen fourteenth overall by the Vancouver Canucks..." For consistency Fourteenth should be 14th.

Fixed

#*There needs to be a link for the 2005-06 WHL season at the beginning of the new paragraph "The following season". There is currently no link to this season.

Done

#*This one is a little nit picky but for the International statistics could you expand the stats table to the same size as the Career Statistics, like on the Jay Bouwmeester page?

Fixed that
  1. It is broad in its coverage.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources):

#*There is some discrepancy in the WHL section about his first hat-trick: "Shortly thereafter, he notched his first WHL career hat trick on February 4, 2007, in a 7–5 win against the Tri-City Americans. Grabner's draft stock went up significantly in the second half of the season, as he scored 22 goals in the final 23 games of 2005–06.[7] In February 2005, he notched his first WHL career hat trick.[8]" Reference 8 doesn't say that it was his first hat-trick, just that he scored a hat-trick, and the Feb. 4 game is unreferenced. This needs to be sorted out and referenced better.

Removed that as I can't find anything that explicitly states his first hat trick.

#*There are lots of issues with the References, Citation looks good and reliability doesn't look to be a factor, but several of these links are dead.

  1. I have listed them separately below by number (and name):

#:*# 9 ("Canucks grab Grabner with 14th pick". The Sports Network. 2006-06-24) is dead

Changed

#*:*# 10 ("Michael Grabner Named CHL Player of the Week". Canadian Hockey League) is dead #*:*# 18 (http://www.theprovince.com/sports/Canucks+beat+Oilers+three+straight/2144346/story.html) is dead #*:*# 22 ("Grabner's hat trick helps Canucks to 5-4 shootout win over Ducks". The Province) is dead #*:*# 23 ("Canucks gets jump on Blackhawks". The Province) is dead #*:*# 12 ("Canucks recall Michael Grabner". Vancouver Canucks) redirects to the Canucks' home page #*:*# 13 ("Canucks reassign Michael Grabner and Alexandre Bolduc" Vancouver Canucks) redirects to the Canucks' home page

  1. a (major aspects): b (focused):
    • Is there nothing available for a personal life section? Parents, siblings, how he lived during his WHL stint, etc.
    • It looks like there are comments on his playing style trough out the article (he was criticized by his coach for his lack of physical play) since he is still a relatively young player I'm guessing there is not enough interdependent information to for a section of it's own. Is that correct?
For both these parts, I looked and couldn't find anything more on either. If someone ever does write something about it, I'll add it.
  1. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
    • No issues on neutrality.
  2. It is stable:
    • No edit wars or on going vandalism problem.
  3. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Both images are under the Creative Commons Attribution. Picture in the text is captioned.
  4. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
I'm going to place this on hold so these issues can be taken care of.

:Started to work on this. Will come back to it. Kaiser matias (talk) 18:12, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No problem I'll keep it on monitor.
Finished everything. Any problems let me know. Kaiser matias (talk) 02:09, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like all of my concerns were taken care of I'm going to go ahead and pass this.--Mo Rock...Monstrous (talk) 03:42, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
