I was about to add this athlete to the Thomas_Jefferson_High_School_(Dallas) page since it had a red link. The link goes to Michael Carter (athlete). Thinking about it, this seems like a more appropriate title rather than the current mouthful. Would anyone object to moving this page to the shorter name?

Not from me. TFnut, take a look at your Talk page. I put some explanation for my Undo over there that probably should have been here. Still kinda new at this stuff.--Fizbin 17:31, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
WTF, you undid all my changes!  ;) But seriously, i had not noticed the ref at the bottom, not sure how i missed that. Certainly the TF nuts need to stick together and make sure the sport is not marginalized. For me, Carter's shot putting is far more impressive than his football, i guess this article is written from a US centric position. Who are these 49ers anyway? ;)
Agreed that Carter was a T&F guy first and foremost, and a football player second. However, I believe it was the football playing that paid his bills. As for the US-centric outlook, both HS T&F and football are both really US-centric endeavors. Most of the rest of the world could care less.--Fizbin 23:22, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
